While Los Angeles grinds along with its meetings and gridlock, Eva Longoria is doing something very different on the Spanish coast. The 49-year-old actress and director was spotted hitting the beaches of Marbella on a weekday — colorful bikini, sun hat, iced drink in hand — looking like someone who has absolutely zero intention of going back.
This wasn’t a vacation. This is her life now.

She paused her swim to tend to her 6-year-old son Santiago, carrying him into the shade after a dip in the Mediterranean. Longtime friend and fellow actor Amaury Nolasco was also part of the group — a social circle built on genuine bonds, not industry connections. Alongside her husband, Mexican businessman José Bastón, Eva made a conscious and permanent decision to leave Southern California behind and raise their family in Spain.
The move was real and committed. The couple dropped the price on their sprawling 8-bedroom Beverly Hills estate — from over $22 million down to under $19 million — to make the relocation happen. Packing up and shipping their life across the Atlantic wasn’t a retreat. It was a declaration.

Their new Marbella home, purchased in early 2023, is a 6-bedroom, 7-bathroom mega-mansion fully renovated with architect and designer Nicolás Escanez. Indoor pool, sauna, home gym — built not for show, but for staying. Eva has said she fell in love with the region two decades ago and always promised herself she’d live there one day. That day came.

And she belongs there. Eva holds Spanish citizenship and was awarded an honorary Dame title tied to her ancestral roots in Oviedo. Her days now revolve around paddle tennis, beach outings, and the kind of slow, intentional living that Hollywood schedules simply don’t allow.
On the sand in Marbella, she looks exactly like someone who made the right call. 🌊☀️
